Paris cycle ride success
Managing Director Simon Melaniphy has successfully cycled from London to Paris!
"London to Brighton just wasn't gruelling enough so I thought I'd put myself through untold pain and cycle the 200 miles from London to Paris in aid of the RNID!" Simon commented upon his return.
The charity trip was with 80 others, leaving Bexley early morning 26th June, heading to Dover then the ferry to Calais. After a 2 hour coach trip to get back on course at Dieppe (no, that's not cheating!), the cycling began again the next morning for another 50 miles on top of the previous 80. The Sunday saw the final 70 miles cycled into the heart of Paris, before a celebration meal later that evening and some sightseeing on the Monday.
To add some digital innovation to the trip, you can re-live the journey on the map below, seeing photos and comments which were tagged with the "geo co-ordinates" via a mobile phone.
