Yahoo! search has hired several of the team making up IBM's 'Clever' project from 1999/2000.

Yahoo! search has hired several of the team making up IBM's 'Clever' project from 1999/2000. The original pioneers of web search, who were way ahead of Google's Page Rank, unfortunately never continued with their ground breaking work and Google became the dominant force in web page indexing and searching.

Now, Yahoo! has brought these well experienced staff members on board and plans to bring on more.
