Social Networking

Social Network application development, for sites such as Facebook, is an example of the innovative online marketing services that Refreshed Media offer.  Whilst we have proven experience in viral flash games, new for 2007 we are now offering development of games and applications specifically designed for this fast growing platform.

We have recently signed a deal to supply RM, the UK's leading provider of ICT software, infrastructure and services to education, with a viral game specifically adapted to work on Facebook and promote their rugged new laptop - Mobile One.  As the first notebook to be designed specifically for its tough surroundings in classrooms (think bumper plates, magnesium alloy lid and hard screen LCD), the interactive game will reinforce these unique selling points by encouraging the player to drop the laptop off the roof and hitting it as far as possible! Whilst not to be tried in real life, those playing the game online can win themselves a Mobile One laptop for knocking it the furthest and getting into the high score table.  Special "promotional code" functionality within the game will allow RM to track the effectiveness of supporting marketing campaigns, and offer personalisation of the game to targeted groups through their own high score table and prize.

On Facebook, players can challenge their friends to find out who can best use a baseball bat to hit the laptop, and take their turn in their own time.  This allows multi-user play without the need for all players to be online together.  Once all players have taken their turn, the results are displayed in the Facebook news feed to their own social network, adding to the viral promotion of the game.

Our social network application development is available as a bespoke service to fit around your brand and promotional requirements, and at varying investment levels based on the complexity of your requirements.  Talk to us today to discuss how we can innovatively promote your business through this exciting and emerging technology.
