Cunard required a micro-site to showcase the launch of their new luxury ocean liner – Queen Victoria. The site also needed to act as a media and customer information point to communicate key Queen Victoria news and events.

Refreshed developed a site in keeping with the Cunard brand, packed with innovative features including an interactive ship map, countdown to launch timer and full virtual tour. Selected rooms on the ship included video embedded into the virtual tours using cutting edge technology to create an innovative and industry leading tour for Cunard. The launch of the site was also complimented with innovative banner advertising and viral game campaigns.

Results
The new website was an immediate hit. In the initial three month period, the site received 110,000 unique visits with interest continuing to nearly 200,000 unique visitors in 6 months. The virtual tour received nearly 50,000 unique visits in the first 3 months rising to nearly 90,000 unique visits after 4 months.

The virtual tour feature has really set Cunard apart from their competitors and enabled customers to truly get a feel for the ship before stepping aboard.
