Lush were looking for a digital agency to help them break into social networking with a Facebook application to promote their brand and increase traffic to their website.
Refreshed Media recommended an application based on the traditional game of pass the parcel. Users are able to select a parcel and send it to a friend with the incentive of winning a prize. With every pass, an additional person is introduced to the application and ultimately the Lush brand, thus making this application a great viral. Prizes include vouchers for a raffle to win a gift box and also smaller prizes from the Lush range. Ultimately the aim of this campaign is to raise awareness of the Lush brand and generate a ‘buzz’ amongst the Lush community.
Results
This innovative application has already been a huge success with over 11,000 unique active users within the first month of launch passing over 50,000 parcels.
